Definition of Formal Applicant Status:
Simple submission of a resume does not constitute an individual
submitter as an "applicant" for the available position, only that
the submitter would like to be considered an applicant
"candidate" for the available position. Successful "applicant"
candidates must first a) show a legitimate interest in the
position available via a City CarShare initiated preliminary
phone, mail or email interview or exchange for additional
informaiton; b) must then be invited by the City CarShare hiring
body or manager to participate in City CarShare's formal
standard application process.
The City CarShare standard application processes includes, but is
not limited to: 1) full completion and submission of a
comprehensive employment application form at City CarShare's
premises; 2) the signing of a confidentiality, Non-Disclosure
Agreement (NDA) at City CarShare's premises; 3) one or more in
person interviews, at City CarShare's premises, with key company
decision makers; 4) candidates permission to conduct background
screening, to verify candidates information listed on the
application itself, and information offered by the candidate
during the application process.
